An announcement

Hello everyone,
I apologize for not posting more. I have a good reason though.
We found out a few weeks ago that I am expecting our second child around the middle of  March.
This week was week 6. With little one I started with the unbearable morning (all day) sickness at 6 weeks, 2 days.
The morning sickness started right on schedule with this one also.

I have been spending a lot of time in bed and been listing while laying down, trying not to move my head too much.

You know I'm not feeling well, when little one and I drove within a block of the goodwill today and didn't stop. I just wanted to go home and crawl in bed.

I have also been falling asleep in the middle of typing. My hubby found me asleep on my keyboard yesterday.

So, my goal, is to take as many photos as possible when I am feeling not as queasy and then list from the comfort of bed whenever possible.

I start back to work next week.  Last time I got pregnant in October, after school has started and the kiddos were kind of trained about what I expected from them. So, it might be an interesting year.
Hopefully the morning sickness will go away soon, with little one I started at 6 weeks and had it until the day after I had him.

Please, pray for me that it will get better soon. And if you have some great cure for morning sickness, please do share, I will be happy to try anything.

I will post more when I am feeling better.

  1. Congratulations! I had terrible all-day "morning" sickness with my one of my kiddos and I used seasick bands. Purchased them from Walgreens. This was 10 yrs ago so they may have updated the look since then, but they looked kind of like narrow sweatbands and they have a little plastic ball attached to them. They work through acupressure. They're called Sea-Band Wristbands if you want to google them.

  2. Congratulations. I was sick for months with two of my three. With the third my doctor was able to put me on a Rx ( starts with a z) and it worked like a charm. That was two years ago. Sorry I don't remember the name better. I know it's most commonly used to cure nausea in chemo patients. My sickness was leaving me serverly dehydrated so they decided to try it out on me.
