The drought is over and ebay has finally found my store me again.
I went from 1 order a week on ebay to 8-10 a day. Yeah!
Amazon and Etsy have also finally picked up.
Which is a good thing, for the most part.
Except that while I'm packing all of those wonderful orders, the morning sickness that lasts until about 8pm continues.
And Monday I will be going back to work full time.
I am thinking about putting my store on vacation for a week or two so that I can get back into the swing of things. The first few weeks of kindergarten can be very exhausting even when you're not pregnant!
I am sad to miss out on the sales, but I think I need the rest.
I am looking forward to the busy sales season. I plan on spending weekends when I am not at school taking lots of pictures to load while laying very still in bed.
Sorry for no photos. I'll try to write a post about what's been selling in a few days, with photos.
Welcome, I'm Melissa. Former Kindergarten teacher (12 years), now single mom to 3 amazing kids (26, 10 & 6) online seller since 1998, full time since 2014. Growing up my Granny taught me everything there is to know about shopping at garage sales (and also a little bit about having too much stuff!) Journey with me while I figure out how to balance a family and selling online as I sell off my Granny's Hoard, and sometimes add to my own!

An announcement
Hello everyone,
I apologize for not posting more. I have a good reason though.
We found out a few weeks ago that I am expecting our second child around the middle of March.
This week was week 6. With little one I started with the unbearable morning (all day) sickness at 6 weeks, 2 days.
The morning sickness started right on schedule with this one also.
I have been spending a lot of time in bed and been listing while laying down, trying not to move my head too much.
You know I'm not feeling well, when little one and I drove within a block of the goodwill today and didn't stop. I just wanted to go home and crawl in bed.
I have also been falling asleep in the middle of typing. My hubby found me asleep on my keyboard yesterday.
So, my goal, is to take as many photos as possible when I am feeling not as queasy and then list from the comfort of bed whenever possible.
I start back to work next week. Last time I got pregnant in October, after school has started and the kiddos were kind of trained about what I expected from them. So, it might be an interesting year.
Hopefully the morning sickness will go away soon, with little one I started at 6 weeks and had it until the day after I had him.
Please, pray for me that it will get better soon. And if you have some great cure for morning sickness, please do share, I will be happy to try anything.
I will post more when I am feeling better.
